Job Placement and Training

Placement Services is a program providing job placement and training support. This program is offered in Wake, Durham, Vance, Granville, Franklin, and Warren counties and is most often funded through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Through the Supported Employment and Work Adjustment Job Coaching programs a "Job Coach" is assigned to each individual to help them with their job search and to provide on-the-job training once they are employed. Individuals continue to receive one-on-one support until they are ready to work independently, and under the Supported Employment program, receive long-term supports for as long as they maintain the job or decide for themselves that they no longer need the support.
