Community Workforce Solutions has been serving individuals with disabilities in Eastern North Carolina in the most personal of ways for over 60 years! Through building community relationships and helping our neighbors with disabilities lead more productive and fulfilling lives, we empower those in our community that need it most.
We invite you to consider making the success of those with brain injuries and other disabilities part of your own legacy or in remembrance of a loved one.

The need for innovative programs in vocational training, transition services for youth entering adulthood, brain injury support, and the provision of meaningful days is only growing. There are several ways you can join our Legacy Society and make this impactful work part of your own legacy or in remembrance of a loved one.
BENEFICIARY DESIGNATIONS
Designate CWS as a beneficiary of a financial account, such as a:
- life insurance policy
- retirement account
- charitable gift annuity
- donor advised fund
- charitable trust
- other financial account
BEQUESTS
Include CWS in a will or type of trust by inserting a provision containing our legal name and federal tax ID:
Sample Language: “I give, devise, and bequeath to Community Workforce Solutions Inc., an independent, nonprofit institution located in Raleigh, North Carolina, EIN: 56-0818985 or its successor organization (% of my estate/item/asset/amount or residual amount) to be used (choose one of the following):
- for its general support and charitable purposes without restriction.”
- for (designated purpose). If at any time it becomes impossible or impractical for my gift to be used for the above designated purpose, Community Workforce Solutions Inc. shall use my gift for a purpose and in a manner that it determines most closely meets the above designated purpose.”
