Transition Aged Youth
Help for Young Adults
Transition services provide educational environments preparing students and young adults for life after high school.
The three distinct programs are:
1. Pre-ETS (Pre-Employment Transition Services) assists students with disabilities, ages 14-21, with the transition from school to employment, service or other post-secondary options.
2. Project Search is a high school or young adult transition initiative which is a business-led, one-year, school-to-work program that combines classroom instruction, career exploration, and relevant job-skills training through strategically designed internships for students with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
3. School Transitions Program provides vocational training opportunities for students age 14-21 with a disability to learn job skills and work-related behaviors needed for post-secondary life.
